ALPHA COURSE
Coming to Clearwater United Methodist Church Starting on Wednesday evening in February: Supper @ 5:30, Course @ 6:00 PM - OR - a condensed one-hour version on Sunday mornings at 10:45 AM.. Who Is Alpha for? Alpha is for those who are investigating Christianity for the first time, and a means for churchgoers to deepen their faith. It enables people to explore the validity and relevance of Christianity in an informal, friendly environment that allows for plenty of discussion. What is Alpha? Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course usually meets once per week for 12 weeks, and includes an amazing one-day or weekend retreat. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like-Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? More information will be provided next week along with an opportunity to sign up for one of these two exciting opportunities.
